What are some of the best Gamecube games?

I recently picked up a Gamecube on Ebay. It came with Zelda
Windwalker, Resident Evil 1, Metroid Prime 1, and Tiger Woods Golf.
Since then I purchased (used) Fzero GX, Pikmin 2, Soul Caliber II,
Viewtiful Joe 2, Star Wars Rogue Leader II, and Super Mario Sunshine.
I have Waverace, SuperMonkey Ball 2, and All Star Baseball 2003
already won so I should have them in a week or two.

I'm pretty much happy with all the above games, but since I am new to
the Gamecube I was wondering what some of you veteran Cube players
would recommend I get? I already have Ikaruga on my list if I can
find it for a reasonable price.

Thanks in advance...

"Best" is subjective, so these are some of my favorites that are not
already on your list:

Chibi-Robo
Gauntlet: Dark Legacy
Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Chaos Bleeds (played the XBOX version, but
they should be the same)
Cubivore
Zelda: Twilight Princess
Viewtiful Joe (the first one)

These and the ones you have should keep you busy for a while.

Beyond Good and Evil
Rayman 3
Mario Kart Double Dash
Mario Golf
Pikmin
Animal Crossing
Zelda Collector's disc with the original Zelda, Zelda 2, Majora's Mask
and Ocarina of Time
Ocarina of Time Master Quest

I second Twilight Princess.

All of these are rated E or T because I have a young child, he watches
me play. Check them out though, maybe Animal Crossing is too kiddy,
I'm a 30 something year old mom who likes it so you never know. =)

Great for family fun:

Mario Kart Double Dash
Mario Party series

Make sure you have 2, 3 or 4 controllers.

Yup. RE4 is just an incredible game, it's damn near perfect in both
look and gameplay. Amazingly enough, it has quite a bit of replay value
too, with the various difficulty levels (the first village battle on
"professional" mode is exhilarating, there's very little room to screw
up!), extra super weapons you can only realistically get in a replay
(because they cost so much money), the unlockable game stuff, etc. The
atmosphere varies quite a bit, from straight-out action to creepy
tension to the weird baroque romp through the castle, all of it balanced
_really_ well (nothing's impossible, but there are many places where
you'll initially think it is!). I rarely even finish most games (just
not enough time) but I must have played through RE4 like 6-7 times!!

Also:

* Metroid Prime 2 is wonderful, even more polished than MP1, and
with an added bit of creepiness...

* Paper mario RPG; a fun twist on the japanese RPG formula

* Pikmin 2

* Some japanese-style RPGs (if you like that sort of thing): Tales of
Symphonia and Skies of Arcadia Legend (the latter is a dreamcast port
so it doesn't look all that great, but it's quite enjoyable)

[Twilight Princess is great on the 'cube, btw (despite not having the
wii's controller, the controls are really well done); I liked it a lot
more than wind-waker.]

Ditto, in a big way.

I have only recently finally stopped replaying RE4 after about 15
replays. It's too easy and familiar now, and I am finally burnt out on it.

Pretty much the best game ever, in my book.

Interesting that you mention Gauntlet Dark Legacy I was interested in
this game because I loved the original way back when ... but the
reviews I read all panned the game. Is it really great?
