Now, maybe it's just *me*, but why don't we ever hear any news about happy & content Muslims? *Are* there any?!? Sarcasm aside, WTF gives folks the right to riot because they're "unhappy"? Poor and unemployed, huh? I'd move elsewhere, but again, maybe it's just *me*. Basically, two kids were, reportedly, chased by cops and hid in a transformer house. They were electrocuted. This, apparently, cause the whole fracas. Personally, they should send in swat teams in testudo formations; have them club each rioter till they stop moving, then move on to the next. Won't actually help, of course, but a guy can dream. Turkey is now trying to make a link between the violence and the French ban on headcloths (what the hell are those things called in English?!) for people in public functions (teachers, civil servants, etc). |
