HP/Compaq D530 - 3.0GHz with HT WinXP Pr DirectDraw Acceleration = Not Availabl AGP Texture Acceleratino = Not Availabl I've uninstalled and reinstalled Directx also uninstalled and reinstalled latest Video drivers but no luck Any suggestions would be help.. Tod . |

Right-click on your Desktop and select: Properties> Settings> Advanced> Troubleshoot and slide the Hardware acceleration all the way to "full" and click apply. -- Carey Frisch Microsoft MVP Windows XP - Shell/User Be Smart! Todd, did you try the DirectX troubleshooters available in the DXdiag screens yet? May also want to review the notations in these screens that summarize the presence of files and the installed version. You might want to try renaming any files that have comments other than "OK." Then reinstalling DirectX. Another thought: The drivers for my display adapter have additional settings in Display> Settings> Advanced for texturizing and the like. There is also a place to setup preferences for Direct3D and OpenGL. If available on your system, you may want to do some exploring in these advanced settings to see if anything was accidentally switched off in that area. -- Sharon F MS-MVP ~ Windows XP Shell/User . |
